Concorde Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing youth development programs for the D.C. Metro Area; empowering young people to become leaders of today and tomorrow within their communities. Concorde challenges students to better themselves and the world around them through impact projects, career development, and service learning.
Vision
Concorde Foundation's vision is to provide a safe, undiscriminationating and healthy environment to nurture and cultivate the youth into being leaders and agents of change in their communities. It is the vision of Concorde Foundation that every young person can recognize their infinite ability to better themselves as individuals academically and socially, which will essentially ensure a path of personal success through the notion of serving their communities humbly.
Mission
The mission of Concorde Foundation is to empower the youth to be advocates of social improvement by promoting educational advancement, leadership development, and cultural preservation.
The mission statement proposed is based upon the original idea of Robert Fitzgerald, Founder of Concorde Foundation, that “children are our only weapon against entropy”. In an ever evolving society, aside from being students, athletes, artists, etc…, the youth also carry an internal but often inhibited desire to bring justice and progress to society. By recognizing and empowering the youth, especially the disadvantaged and marginalized, the youth can unlock their infinite potential and develop into educated and compassionate citizens of the world.
Concorde is dedicated to this mission by providing opportunities, tools, and undying encouragement for the youth to address and advocate the issues they take interest in. Thus, Concorde would not be an authority but a partner in this endeavor, and in harmony with today’s future, we can and we will change the world for the better.
