Concorde's DCML Students continue to take time to serve families in need, despite holiday rush.
This holiday season is often a whirlwind of long to-do lists and rushes of anxieties and stress. This is no different for the youth of DCML who are riding out the whirlwind between wrapping up their winter term and fulfilling their holiday obligations!
However, no matter how torrentous the season gets, this hasn't stopped the youth to take time to serve those in need as proven when DCML students joined other community members in distributing holiday groceries with Martha's Table at Amidon-Bown Elementary School.
As Christmas is creeping up rapidly, these groceries can go a long way in ensuring families a comforting holiday dinner! Families are given a generous amount of food while receiving it with a dignified smile from volunteers, thanks to the thorough orientation provided by Martha's Table. In the end, as cliche as it often is said, there really is nothing more precious than the gift of time.
